Advent, Advent - (k)ein Lichtlein brennt
Advent, Advent - (no) candle burns

Few weeks ago I received a card in my postbox telling me that a parcel is waiting for me. I haven't been exspecting this at all and so it was a huge surprise, when I saw that my girls sent me a christmas parcel! Great friends they are, they met in Dresden to bake christmas cookies and shared them by four instead of three and send it to their always gone friend. Thanks to the Wichtels Anja, Friedel and Kristin again!!!

It was quite hard not to rip it off and eat it all at once, and today, the 1.Advent was finally the day to try the delicois selfmade Vanillekipferln, Kekse and Zettis. Mummsfilibaba!

Caril, Brian and our Woofers Sara and Michael joined me crazy christmas traditionalist, lighting incense smokers and the first candle - when the came back from the beach. Kind of weird to celebrate christmas when it's sunny and hot outside, however, the lecker cookies and nice company blew all pecularities for the evening away. (Especially as Brian put the Christmas Carols in the CD player :)

Vielen Dank Mädels! Freu mich schon auf unseren Glühwein!

Rangitoto Day Trip
The sun shining and a whole weekend studying is just not possible. So I took the chance and went with my college Elgin and our Woofers Sara and Michale to the little island Rangitoto for a great day trip.
