Wolkenpause

Today was not only Nikolaus, today was also the day of taking action for climate change. One of Sara's awesome flatmates decided to organize Aucklands first ever 'Frocks on Bikes'. As riding a bike is a challenge in New Zealand and most often only seen as a crazy sport wearing fancy security gear, today's idea was to take public space and show that everybody can contribute to climate change. About 100 'frocks' in pretty rocks rode along Ponsonby Rd and I was more than happy to be part of this event!

I have seen a lot of sheep, pukekos and a kiwi on this beautiful island. But since today I know that there must be reindeers around, too... ;)

Today I was walking home through the city and discovered this nice christmas decoration - just next to a palm tree...

Next to Bob the Baumeister and Winnie Poo I found the last real christmas calender. Now everybody has the chance to grab a chocolate candle or slide before leaving to work wearing sun glasses...
