Happy new year everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful start into new year and hangover wasn't too bad ;) Mathi and me decided spontaneously to celebrate in Berlin as I missed the capital a lot and we had the opportunity to stay at Mathis sister. Seemed like thousands of Italians and Espaniolos thought the same - it was quite random to hear German during these days... Anyway, Berlin is still a great city and we celebrated new years in Kreuzberg with a faboulous dancing night after.

Family meeting

The big installation for today is a bit late due to traffic jam on the road between Freiberg and Auckland. This peculiarity will explain itself later. However I want to wish everybody merry christmas or 'Frohe Weihnachten' like we say! Here in Freiberg at my parents place we are still waiting for snow, just fog outside ;(... My sister and brother are still busy wrapping presents while my mum and dad are working till lunch. Santa will be probably coming this afternoon. Curious if he has the voice of my brother or dad this time ;) And then we gonna have Kartoffelsalat and Wiener, you remember... ?

Not the ordinary christmas carols dress like we in the northern hemisphere know it. However santas caps indicate that these songs are about a christmas though.

Sorry, I was more jetlaged the last days than I exspected and missed to update my blog. However, there are still some curiosities that need to be shown, like this little girl on Queen Street. Fascinated by 'Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer' and not ice-cream or shopping as the rest of the people.
